DEFAULT: CHAPTER TOTAL VOLUMES PER MONTH

By default, the chapter totals will give you a quick overview of the import and export volumes per month. This is a timeline-based chart which will showcase the trends in a bar chart format. The data is a summary of all the tariff codes within the specific indicated chapter.

EXCEL SPREADSHEET: COMBINED MICROSOFT EXCEL SPREADSHEET

You can also download an Excel Spreadsheet which you can manipulate and draw your own reports against. All the figures are verified and includes the raw data based on transactional dates. It comprises the following data fields

  • Trade type (imports/export)
  • Tariff code number
  • Date of transaction
  • Country of Destination Name
  • Country of Export Name
  • Country of Origin Name
  • District Office Code
  • Customs Value
  • Statistical Quantities
  • Rand per unit value

CHART 1: VOLUMES PER COUNTRY

Here you can view volume figures per chapter or drill down to a specific tariff code to view the import and export volumes for that specific tariff from a specific country. A very versatile graph to quickly indicate the volumes being transacted per country.

CHART 2: CUSTOMS VOLUMES PER ITEM

Here you can filter and view a chapter or specific tariff codes customs’ import and export volume figures.

CHART 3: RAND PER UNIT VALUES

Here you can view a graph (per month basis) for the Rand per unit value of a tariff code. This will help determine rand per unit cost for a certain product for import versus export values.
